![]() ![]() Actually, I have found some good things and bad things about all of those games mentioned above, but that's for you to decide. Bunny Black series and Eiyuu Senki are decent, as well. Some of the Rance games are good too game-play wise, if you can deal with that kind of protagonist. Out of all of those, the Ikusa Megami series and the Gears of Dragoon series are pretty fantastic. Both have pretty art and decent dungeon crawler game-play. Other games I remember, are Sakura Dungeon and Dungeon Master Chris. A few that I can remember off the top of my head are: Rance (series of games), Kami no Rhapsody, Ikusa Megami (series of games), Beat Blades Haruka, Eiyuu Senki, Dungeon Of Regalia, Bunny Black 1 & 2, Seinarukana -The Spirit of Eternity Sword 2, Lightning Warrior Raidy (series of games), Madou Koukaku, Himegari Dungeon Meister, Gears of Dragoon 1 & 2 (first one was a fantastic dungeon crawler game-play wise (didn't play the second one), interface translation is all there is though, but you don't need to know the story to enjoy the game-play). There are some good Japanese RPG games that have been either fully translated or at least partially translated (interface translation) that might suit your tastes. I wouldn't necessarily call it "actual gameplay" however the fact that the choices matter as much as they do makes it as investing as playing a game. This game is a Noir Detective visual novel, however due to its story it has consequences for the choices you make. I imagine as it goes further it has more plans for combat and stealth mechanics, however it hasn't gotten there yet in its development.Ī bit of a curveball to this discussion, I'm gonna hold up Depraved Awakening for inspection. Vis Major is another RPGM I rather like, it has some small amount of combat thus far, however it's mostly been a progressing story till now. However it is really engaging and has a nice little world to explore. This game is mostly about the sex, and you're not solving puzzles or fighting monsters. ![]() Now, this game doesn't have any combat, however it makes use of its world to behave like an adventure game. My favorite RPGM title by far is Coceter Chronicles. I was kinda underwhelmed by the sexual content by comparison. Its pretty simple, but combat and improving your magical skills is the majority of the game really. Lust & Power is another game that has a turn based combat mechanic. There are other games that I haven't played in the RPGM vein that also make use of the combat mechanics, so its a game type to look into for you. They both make use of the RPG parts of RPGM at times in the artifact behaving like an action adventure game and in Incest Adventure making use of the Final Fantasy style combat mechanics to make you fight bullies and vermin. You might try both The Artifact and Incest Adventure by ICCreations. RPGM games have the potential to have what you're after, however most of the games here focus on the adult content. I haven't played any of those, so I may not be the best to answer your question.
